Where did you grow up?

Temecula. I was here when there was 1 stop sign and the Promenade mall was a dairy.

When did you become a member at Turn2Crossfit?

Actually, I will be here a year this month-I joined February 16, 2016.

What do you do when you are not at Turn2Crossfit?

You can find me at work or hanging out with my awesome family.

How did you find out about Crossfit?

Mostly through word of mouth (obviously, because people who crossfit can’t stop talking about it) but I found out about Turn2 through a girl I work with. I purchased a deal online and never left-they are still trying to break it to me that my groupon has expired.

What is your favorite WOD/movement?

Right now, my favorite movement is the power snatch. I love how many technical aspects there are to it.

What is your least favorite WOD/movement?

My least favorite movement is any movement I currently suck at doing. So it is constantly changing daily.

Except the assault bike...I will always and forever hate that ‘movement’

What would your perfect WOD look like?

I like sprint rowing WODs but I really like chippers...do a lot of reps of one something and it is the last time you will have to do that movement...until tomorrow.

What is one thing you have done at Turn2 that you never thought you would?

A sit up...lol actually, rope climbs and handstand push ups (sorry, that’s 2)

What motivates you during a WOD?

That my body can always be pushed beyond the limit my mind thinks it can. It is just a matter of doing it.

What is something about yourself that we may not know?

I shoot a recurve bow and arrow

What advice would you give to someone just getting started with Crossfit?

I have learned so much that it is difficult to summarize it...I would have to say ‘ask questions, listen (to your coach and your body), be humble, be patient and no one cares about your excuses work harder’ if you put in the work and get into the box, you will see results. Come in as much as you can and apply to your workouts what you learn from others. OH! and no matter how much you got your ass handed to you in a workout, you better leave with a smile.
